A Little About Tom |
In 1969 I bought my first house! I was hooked on Real Estate from the start! Two years later we sold that house for a profit and bought another one. Since that time, over 35 years ago, I have been involved in Real Estate as a home owner, investor, landlord, and of course a Realtor ®. In December 1998, when we bought the home we live in now, the broker that we bought it from said, "You sure know a lot about Real Estate, why don't you come sell Real Estate for me." I thought, "Why not, I've always loved anything to do with Real Estate." It was a natural transition for me. I had worked 25 years for the Idaho Air National guard, retired from there, and was managing a Radiator Shop for someone else. I had been involved all those years with Real Estate buying, selling, investing, and owning my own home, why not become a Realtor ®? I went to Real Estate school, got my license, and became a Realtor! I went to work for that Broker! He had a small Real Estate Company ran out of his home. There were a total of 5 of us, really we only made about 3 1/2, but it was fun and I was having a great time and learned a lot more about Real Estate. About a year after I started he told us he was opening a Franchised Real Estate Company in Boise and if we wanted to join him in the new franchised company we could, or if we wished, we could go find another small company. I chose to join him! We started out with 5 agents and that company grew to more than 50 agents! After 7 years with that company, lots of learning, building a large Internet presence, with some highly regarded websites, and becoming an e-PRO, (a NAR certified Internet Real Estate Professional). In March 2006 I decided to move on to AllPro Realty, Inc., (a Utah based company), in Boise so I could work harder on growing my internet presence from my home office. In March 2008 I made the move to a locally owned Real Estate Company named Harvest Realty in Nampa, Idaho. Harvest Realty is a better fit for my way of doing business as an e-PRO and is locally owned and locally based. By joining Harvest Realty it better supports our local growth and economy. I can still provide the Professional Service my Clients expect, continue to grow my Internet presence, and I hope our paths cross along the way, on the Internet or in person!

My philosophy about real estate
is simple. Owning your own home is part of the American
Dream. And that real estate is not about dealing
with property, but helping people, helping people realize a part
of their Dreams, providing that personal service that some of

most important part of my job is communication. I know the
buying/selling process can be a confusing and anxious time for most
people. I try to keep in touch with you throughout every step
of the buying/selling process so you know what is going on all the
time. As soon as I find out I try to relay any information
that I get to the buyer or seller. Staying in touch is important. |
